Cada año se reparten más de 200 premios GOTY, Game Of The Year (Juego del año), provenientes de diferentes asociaciones, prensa y comunidades de jugadores. Hace 5 años, se crearon los Game Awards para conseguir un símil con los OSCAR en el cine o los GRAMMY en la música.

Uno de los galardones con más historia, los Golden Joystick, cierran las votaciones al público mañana lunes 2 de noviembre a través de este enlace. A diferencia de los Game Awards, los premios entregados por la revista Games Radar se basan íntegramente en las elecciones realizadas por los jugadores.
